Recently, I have become obsessed with cool novels. It is the kind of story with a simple plot, in which a person travels through ancient times and relies on modern knowledge, such as 300 Tang poems and gunpowder production technology, to crush the ancients and achieve a counterattack from waste to genius. This was judged as garbage and brain-dead by me in the past, but now I enjoy it. The reason is that my life is a mess now, and I am exhausted. I can only find a moment of satisfaction from this kind of cool novel. Recently, I read “Power and Favor”, which is also about a female doctor who travels through time and space and achieves a counterattack with her medical skills. She and her son also have superpowers. With her efforts, the characters in the book have changed from intrigue to love each other. Not only cool, but also warm. This book just makes up for all the hardships in my real life. In real life, I am a mess, my life is not satisfactory, I have great economic pressure, my family is sick, I have great mental pressure, my wife does not understand me, I can’t even communicate a word, and my feelings are empty, lonely and cold. Everything is comforted in this book. It warms my cold heart.  So sad. Unfortunately, all this is just a little bit of anesthesia for me. I still have to face a bad life and a fucked-up fate from now on. The road ahead is dark and the future is confusing. I don’t know where tomorrow will be. Will tomorrow be better? Most likely it won’t.
